A new 60 bedroom hotel in the grade I listed gardens of Warwick Castle
In May 2022 The Manser Practice achieved planning permission for a new 60 bedroom hotel in a Conservation Area near Warwick Castle.
The hotel has been positioned on the woodland site around existing Root Protection Zones, set a half-storey below ground level to lower the building below the canopy height of surrounding trees.
It provides a mixture of family-sized rooms and accessible bedrooms, and the project includes the extension and upgrade to a nearby restaurant, with a raised timber walkway linking it to the new hotel. The development increases visitor numbers to Warwick Castle and allows guests, for the first time, to stay overnight in the town and contribute to the local economy.
