Hammersmith Bridge has been closed for for over 6 months after “critical faults” were discovered in the structure. Working next to the bridge it is such a focal point for the office that we decided to conduct an internal exercise to look for solutions.
Working in teams the practice came up with 5 very different designs on how the bridge could be reworked. The press picked up on one of the ideas and it inspired us to showcase them all and invite the public to pick their favourite.
